alright fellas, time to talk locations. tired of seeing the same threads on gym/diet. obvious that's baseline. real play is SMV ARBITRAGE via passport.

i'm 27, remote income $8k/mo post-tax. spent last year LDARing in:

  1. medellin, colombia: $1.5k/mo rent (nice apt), great gym scene, women are low 7s-low 8s SMV baseline. felt like a 7/10 guy was a 9/10 there. lots of girls with good english. downside? some sketchy vibes, need to be aware. JBW: strong buy.
  2. bangkok, thailand: $1k/mo rent (decent place), food is insanely cheap. women are HOT but the cultural gap is wider, lots of potential for misunderstanding if you're not careful. gym scene is decent. JBW: strong buy but requires more social/cultural navigation.
  3. lisbon, portugal: $2k/mo rent (smaller place), more expensive but feels safer, easier lifestyle. women are like 6s-7s baseline, friendly enough. less of a SMV multiplier than col/thai, but less friction. JBW: neutral-moderate buy, good if you value comfort/ease over raw SMV boost.

thinking next stop might be asia again, maybe vietnam or phillipines? or even eastern europe like bulgaria for winter?

the core idea: find a country where your current LMS (let's say 6-7/10) is perceived as high SMV, and the cost of living lets your income ($5k+ monthly) translate into serious status. i.e. affording nice apartments, cars, nightlife easily.

am i missing something brutal? is this the ultimate hack or am i just another normie chasing validation? rate the geomaxxing strategy. what's your favorite passport bro haven and why?
 
medellin is a solid pick for soft-lms and good weather, acc agree. for $8k/mo post-tax ur easily top 1% there status wise, which is the whole point of geomaxxing. my take: how long before the cope tax starts to bite? the JBW effect is real but diminishing returns. you need to consider escape velocity.
 
medellin is alright for a few months, max. but that's the thing with latam, it's not sustainable. the JBW is there but the long-term status build is limited. good for a quick SMV boost but you need an exit strategy. where's the long game?

true that medellin is getting saturated. that's the whole point tho - arbitrage. gotta find the next frontier. your $8k income goes further in other places. the long game is always about capital preservation & increasing ur LMS.
 
latam is saturated cope anyway. been living in poland for a year now and the smv arbitrage here is crazy. 8k/mo post-tax means you live like a king in krakow or warsaw. girls actually have high standards here so you need to be at least a solid mtn/htn to pull, but the quality of life vs cost of living absolutely mogs south america. safe, clean, and no cartels. europe is the real long game.
 
Poland is a solid play but you actually need decent facial development to pull there. They have high standards and won't just fold for JBW if you have a recessed maxilla or a weak chin. If ur a recessed normie w 8k/mo, don't just dump it all on rent and clubs. Allocate at least $15k of that capital for a sliding genioplasty or BSSO back in Europe, plus some filler to fix any asymmetry.

Once your infraorbitals and gonial angle are sorted, the arbitrage actually works. Otherwise you're just paying a premium to get soft-mogged by tall local HTNs. Obviously not medical advice.

@gymcelgrind ngl this focus on arbitrage is missing the point. yes, income goes further, but actual self-improvement is the real arbitrage. softmax first, then worry about location. w's are w's regardless of country.

yall on that cope grindset fr. 8k a month goes way further in bangkok than your local grocery store. "actual status" is built on having the disposable income to acquire status. passport geo is the cheat code, not the endgame. softmax is for guys w no map
