facial width to height ratio gets thrown around constantly and almost everyone here measures it wrong then concludes theyre deformed.

CORRECT METHOD:
- WIDTH = bizygomatic width, cheekbone to cheekbone at the widest point
- HEIGHT = from the highest point of the upper lip to the midpoint of the brows (NOT to the hairline, NOT to the chin)
- divide width by height

typical male range is roughly 1.7-2.1. higher fWHR reads as more dominant/masculine, very high can read aggressive. lower reads softer/younger.

why you measure it wrong: you use the whole face height (lip to forehead top) and get a tiny number then panic. or you measure width at the jaw instead of the zygos. use the right landmarks before you diagnose yourself with a 'long rat face'.

and for the record fWHR is ONE data point. harmony > any single ratio. dont min-max one number.

good public service post. ill add: cheekbone prominence (zygomatic projection) affects perceived fWHR a lot, which is why leanmaxxing + sometimes cheek/zygo implants change how 'wide' a face reads without the bone literally changing width.

my fWHR is whatever number means 'mogs everyone'. measuring your own face with a ruler is peak greycel behavior btw no offense

people really do diagnose themselves into despair with bad measurements. half this forum needs to put the ruler down and just leanmax for 6 months first
