Too many of you are signing up for BSSO or rhino based on a few filtered IG photos from a clinic account. That’s a fast track to a revision nightmare and permanent nerve damage.
When vetting a maxillofacial surgeon, the baseline is simple: ask for actual, unedited lateral and frontal cephalometric radiographs of their past cases. If they won't show you consistent pre/post results with proper cephalometric analysis, walk away. Verify their board certification and ask for their specific complication rate regarding permanent paresthesia in nerve-involved procedures. If you're going for cosmetic rhino, ensure they specialize in structural grafting rather than just aggressive tissue resection—the latter turns into a collapsed supratip within five years.
Hardmaxxing isn't a hobby. If you can’t afford the best surgeon, save your money until you can. Don't be a botched statistic. Not medical advice.
