ngl saw a lot of questions about this lately. figured id drop some basics from a clinical perspective.
TRT is testosterone replacement therapy. typically for diagnosed hypogonadism (low T). doctor prescribes it based on blood work and symptoms. doses are meant to bring you into the natural male range, not above it. injections (test enanthate, cypionate) or gels are common. side effects can include acne, mood swings, increased hematocrit (blood thickness), potential hair loss acceleration (if prone). PCT (post cycle therapy) might be needed if using supra-physiological doses, but proper TRT is not a cycle.
HRT is broader, can be hormone replacement generally. for guys, this usually means TRT. for women, it's often estrogen/progesterone.
crucially, self-treating or using sourced compounds without medical supervision is a massive failo. blood work is essential. risks are real. don't do it unless a doctor validates you need it and manages it.
this isn't medical advice, obviously. consult a qualified physician.
