The PSL Scale
PSL is the rating scale used across looksmaxing communities. It's harsher than normie standards — roughly a point and a quarter stricter than how people rate in real life.

• Subhuman (1–1.5) — extremely unattractive
• LTN — Low-Tier Normie (1.5–3) — below average
• MTN — Mid-Tier Normie (3–4.5) — average
• HTN — High-Tier Normie (4.5–5.5) — noticeably above average
• Chadlite (5.5–6) — very attractive, benefits clearly from looks
• Chad (6–7.25) — stands out in any room
• Gigachad (7.25+) — top-tier, rare

Female equivalents: Becky (average), Stacy (top-tier).

Core terms

• Mogging — outshining someone in looks. Variants: heightmog, facemog, framemog.
• Looksmax — maximizing your appearance. Softmax = non-surgical (grooming, skincare, gym, style). Hardmax = surgical/extreme.
• Mewing — tongue-posture technique aimed at the jaw/midface.
• Cope — denying reality. Water — something so obvious it's not worth saying.
• Based — correct/admirable. Brutal — a harsh truth. Mirin — admiring.
• Halo / Failo — a feature that lifts (halo) or drags down (failo) your overall look.
• Ascend — successfully improve your looks/status. It's over / LDAR — doomer slang; don't take it literally.

Facial anatomy

• Canthal tilt — angle of the eye corners. Upward (positive) is attractive; NCT (negative) is a flaw.
• Hunter eyes — deep-set, narrow, hooded eyes. Highly rated.
• Gonial angle / ramus / mandible — jaw structure. "Jaw is law."
• Zygos — cheekbones. Maxilla — upper jaw; forward growth is good.
• fWHR — facial width-to-height ratio. Norwood (NW) — baldness scale.
